Dip and Strip has been established in Cyprus since 1995 and provides a valuable service to householders and business alike. It is totally unique, being the only dedicated commercial paint stripping service on the island.
As the name implies this process removes paint or varnish from mainly solid wood items such as doors, shutters and furniture. They are "dipped" in a large tank containing a combination of special chemicals that soften the paint enabling removal easily. After dipping a cold water pressure wash is used to rinse away the softened material to reveal the original woodwork. In most cases 100% of the old finish is removed. The process is very effective where intricate carving or mouldings are involved.
